The polling feature in Zoom allows you to create and use single choice or multiple-choice polling questions during your meetings.

You will be able to launch the poll during your meeting and gather the responses from your attendees. You can download a report of polling data during or after the meeting.

Polls can also be conducted anonymously if you do not wish to collect participant information with the poll results. Note for users of screen readers: letters in parentheses in the instructions below refer to corresponding areas on example images. Optional: You can choose Re-launch to restart this poll or stop sharing results and choose the next poll to launch from the drop down.

Note: Hosts must use the Zoom desktop client app to manage polling. Polls cannot be launched from a mobile phone, tablet, or Chromebook. Launching Polls Start your scheduled meeting. From the Zoom taskbar, select Polls. If you have created more than one poll for this meeting, you may select from them using the drop down arrow at the top right of the menu, next to Edit.

Select Launch Polling to begin gathering results. Once you are satisfied with the results, select End Poll. If you would like to share the results of the poll with all meeting participants, select Share Results. After the meeting has ended you can download a report of the poll results. This report will display responses given, as well as user profile names and email addresses. If the poll was made anonymous, the report will only show responses.

Select Zoom on the left hand side, and then select Zoom Virtual Classroom. Click on the link to the Zoom meeting for the date you want to run the poll. Scroll to the bottom. It will look like the image below. Enter in your own questions. Delete any text you don't need. Save the file. Your poll s have now been added to your meeting. You may deploy these polls using the same methods as before.

That option is only available in the LTI, not in the web portal or desktop client. I have users who present continuing education, they don't use the LMS. I did see the suggestion to create a meeting template to save poll questions , which might help a little, but I don't think these folks are re-using questions, they just need a way to collaborate on quiz creation, prior to starting a meeting, and an easier way to upload the questions.
